A Dean’s List graduate of St. Lawrence University, Dr. Brad Whittelsey holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in speech and communications. While working as an international flight attendant he embarked on a rigorous 4 year body of study and clinical training ultimatly earning a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture from The Academy for 5 Element Acupuncture located in Gainesville, Florida. After graduation from The Academy, he earned a second Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine as well as a Bachelor of Health Sciences from the prestigious Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
Brad has received guidance and training from some of the finest minds working in modern oriental medicine. Through this study and clinical practice, he has honed his skills and synergistically combined modern diagnostic techniques with ancient Chinese wisdom to develope a system of physical and mental healing second to none. Brad’s dedication to holistic wellness is based on a belief that through balance, anyone can achieve wellness and a life of peace and well being.
Brad holds training credentials in acupuncture and detoxification protocols for the treatment of drug, smoking and alcohol addicion as well as clinical experience in pain management using oriental and homeopathic medicine. Through his rigorous study of 5 Element acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine he has developed protocols to rejuvinate and renew the mind, body and spirit. His specialties include pain management, migraine headache relief, stress and anxiety management and relief of menopausal symptoms.
